Please join us Friday, January 27th - Sunday, January 29th, 2012 for Winter Awakening 2012: "OUR THOUGHT-LIFE WILL BE PLACED ON A MUCH HIGHER PLANE..."*  This 5th annual retreat is a weekend exploration of spiritual identity & connectedness for gays, lesbians & friends in recovery from alcoholism & drug addiction.  Though 12-step- & traditions-based, Winter Awakening is not an AA-sanctioned event.

So wrap yourselves in scarves & join us at this beautiful location nestled atop The Mountain in Highlands, North Carolina!  With its rustic cabins, comfortable lodge & cozy meeting spaces, you'll find it easy to relax & enjoy the amazing winter scenery.  Participants will dine together in the large cafeteria, enjoying freshly prepared meals by a fully staffed kitchen, with vegetarian options always available.  Parking is available on-site at no additional cost.  The Mountain Center allows smoking only in its designated area, and not on the common grounds or in the facilities.
